Astley Vineyard

Once the most northerly vineyard in the world, Astley Vineyard was established in the lush Severn Valley in Worcestershire in 1971. The original founders, the Bache family, were visionaries of their time; planting varieties such as Madeleine Angevine and Siegerrebe decades before its potential in England was realised. Having recently changed hands, exciting times are ahead for the vineyard and its new owners, the Haywood family. Astley Vineyard Offers Tours and Tastings.

The Riverside Inn

Situated just a stones throw (quite literally) from Lenchford Meadow Park, is The Riverside Inn. The park and the then Lenchord Hotel were part of the same business pre 1983. They offer an excellent menu and a warm welcome. The restaurant offers a fine selection of fresh local produce, freshly cooked to order by experienced chefs and you will be looked after by great hosts and freindly staff.

Shrawley Wood

As one of the largest small-leaved lime woodlands in the country, Shrawley Wood really is something special.
On top of that it has a spectacular display of bluebells April/May.

The starting (and finishing point) is the New Inn on the B4196 Holt Heath to Stourport-on-Severn road near Shrawley. The landlord welcomes walkers and charges a small parking fee, which can be redeemed against purchases for food and drink.
